Building our community one small group at a time

Circles

Building our community one small group at a time. Cairn Circles are the way that we are seeking to build the network of mission practitioners. We want everyone to know that they belong. That there are sisters and brothers who are standing with them and supporting them in the life, work and ministry that they are called to.

Cairn Circles are the way that we are seeking to build the network of mission practitioners. We want everyone to know that they belong. That there are sisters and brothers who are standing with them and supporting them in the life, work and ministry that they are called to.

We love to come alongside leaders and churches to journey with you as you build a culture of discipleship and mission.

Everyone needs a place to belong

Everyone needs a place to know others and be known. A safe, trustworthy group of fellow disciples who want to encourage and strength each other.

We have different Circles for different people and different stages of life. 5Q circles are groups of people seeking to grow in their gifting – apostolic, prophetic, evangelistic, teaching and pastoring. We also have spiritual formation, emerging leader (18-30) and pioneer circles. Each run by a trained and trusted member of the Cairn Network.

What happens in Circles?

Cairn Circles

Cairn offer “Circles” which are online small (5-8) groups of like-minded practitioners. These are an opportunity to develop your own spiritual formation in a safe environment with like-minded leaders.

We have different Circles for different people and different stages of life. 5Q Leadership, spiritual formation, emerging leader (18-30) and pioneer circles. Each run by a trained and trusted member of the Cairn Network.

5Q Apostolic circle

What is the apostolic gift and how can we grow in it? What does it mean to be entrepreneurial and pioneering? How does this gift work in the church and outside the church?

 5Q Prophetic circle

What is this revelatory gifting and how can we use it to build the Kingdom today? What does it mean to speak truth to power and advocate for justice? How do we work with other 5Q giftings to build healthy Kingdom life?

 5Q Teaching circle

How do we apply the never changing authoritative Word of God to the ever changing culture and context? How do we equip every believer to be able to hear and obey the Word of God for themselves?

Emerging Leaders (18-30) circle

How do we identify and grow in the gifting and calling that God has given to us? How can we learn from mentors and others to develop our character and skills to reflect those of Christ? How do we lay down healthy foundations for a life of Christian discipleship?

5Q Evangelistic circle

How do we help people to come to know Jesus as Saviour and Lord? How do we read the culture so that the gospel makes sense today? How can we raise faith and courage within the wider Body of Christ to share faith?

5Q Pastoral circle

How do we create healthy, mature disciples of Christ? How can we make churches safe, honest and learning communities? How can we ensure that every believer knows their identity, significance and purpose?

Spiritual formation circle

How can we develop healthy, sustaining spiritual rhythms and patterns that allow us to flourish? What are the core spiritual foundations that we need to ensure that we thrive?

Pioneer circle

For those who are leading a pioneering project or church plant (usually Forge graduates, but not always) in the first 3-5years of starting. Lead by an experienced church planting coach/mentor.
