We are very excited to let you know that we have been shortlisted by the members of the Christian Funders’ Forum for a showcase award!
We have been nominated in the Mission and Evangelism category, and we will be attending the awards ceremony at the House of Lords on 10th October 2024.
The Christian Funders’ Forum (CFF) was formed in 2014 by a group of Christian Grantmakers who wanted to come together in order to learn and share best practices to enhance the collaborative impact of Christian funders.
There are currently more than 50 members in the CFF, whose combined annual giving to Christian mission in the UK and overseas totals in excess of £70 million. The CFF is a powerful collective of grant-makers who are transforming lives and communities through their vital support in addressing social needs, helping the vulnerable and embedding Christian values.
Here is what the Christian Funders’ Forum has to say about the work of Cairn Movement:
“The Cairn Movement is a network of people committed to mobilising a missionary movement in Scotland and Ireland. Through a partnership with Forge Scotland, they have been involved in training over 200 people across Scotland who have gone on to establish 130 new church plants, mission projects or other missional activities. For each 10 people trained as Pioneers, they go on to establish 6.5 new church plants. Each new church plant draws in on average between 40-70 new disciples. Many of these churches are led by people who are not paid or are bi-vocational. The churches then become self-funded.”
Thank you so much for the nomination CFF! We are really looking forward to the 10th of October.
