Supporting the next generation of leaders in Scotland and beyond
Sometimes, God does something so unexpected, so powerful, that all you can do is stand in awe. At the end of March, I witnessed such a moment.
3,500 young adults gathered for The Send—the largest mission mobilization event for youth in a generation. As I stood among them, I saw hearts ignited with passion for the Kingdom. Over 500 of them said “Yes!” to being sent—to Scotland, and to the nations.
I’m a man of faith, but even I was caught off guard by the sheer scale of what God was doing.
Digging Ditches in the Desert
In 2 Kings 3, three kings found themselves stranded in the desert. They called upon Elisha for a word from the Lord—and it came in a surprising way:
“Dig ditches all over this dry stream bed. You won’t hear wind or see rain, but this valley is going to fill up with water…”
(2 Kings 3:16–17)
The ditches were preparation. They were a prophetic act of faith to receive what God was about to pour out.
We believe God is asking us to do the same.
To dig ditches. To prepare for the flood of young missionaries He is sending.
Our First Ditch: Kingdom Come Mission School
Our first step is the Kingdom Come Mission School this June, with special guest Heidi Baker.
We are believing for 100+ young adults (ages 18–30) to gather for a week of worship, teaching, prayer, and radical encounter with Jesus.

This isn’t just an event. It’s the beginning of something far bigger.
What Comes Next? More Ditches.
If 100+ young people come—and we believe they will—we must be ready for what follows. This is where we need you.
To nurture this new community, we must build the capacity to train, mentor, and release these young leaders into the world. That means:
- Spiritual Fathers & Mothers to walk alongside them
- Ongoing Training & Discipleship to shape them
- Financial Resources to sustain the mission
